The river
Greenblood despite its name is not green, however it is lined with green palms, and exotic plants. Small farms and self-sustaining communities taper to the green foothills of the Tor north of the water flow. To the south the foliage yields to the savanna wildlands where wemic prides roam- then the Red Dunes. Hazards: chekryan (giant insects), black savanna leopards, dire tortoise, desert dinosaurs, and elementals.

Vaith is a relatively large desert frontier town of approximately 5,000 Dornish who live and toil off the Greenblood for their daily livelihoods whether by trade, farming or fishing. Vaith's population is known to swell to seven or ten thousand individuals during the rainy years. Vaith owes its riches to the magical
salvation cactus and fishweed that naturally grow locally along the Greenbood. The town of Vaith has unfortunately fallen on very hard times; the dustblight has plagued the region for almost 20 years and last year the King's Master of Ships raided counties along the Greenblood stopping at Vaith long enough to nearly decimate all but three members of House Vaith itself looking for the archeologist Desmor Vaith.

House Vaith has suffered the loss of many of its powerful members leaving only the young adults Dyron and Callella and the new Lord of the Red Dunes- Marwan Vaith their uncle, who currently controls the family legacy and who was also present during the
Submission of Sunspear.
